Free Warrior Woman Workshop

This Saturday,
do something
for you.

You spend a lot of time bringing your kids to the mat.

This Saturday, we're inviting you onto it.

Join us for a free Warrior Woman workshop created especially for women who want to learn some practical self-defence, have some fun and experience a completely different side of Iron Grip.

I'm Coming Saturday

Free to attend No experience needed Bring a friend

Let's clear something up

No, we're not throwing you into a typical Jiu-Jitsu class.

If you've watched your child train and thought, “There is absolutely no way I'm doing that,” you're not alone.

This is not a normal Jiu-Jitsu class.

You won't be expected to roll, spar or grapple competitively with anyone.

Instead, we'll introduce you to practical self-defence ideas and movements in a relaxed environment, with women from our own academy guiding you through the session.

The goal is for you to leave having learned something useful, while actually enjoying yourself.

Lynn-Joy Isaacs and Melissa Williams will lead the instruction and guide you through each practical movement.

Together with Larissa Van Der Westhuizen, Irna Oosthuizen and Chanelle Hermans, the full team will provide support, assistance and friendly partners to practise with on the mat.

There's a different level of understanding when women teach other women. They understand the situations women think about, what can feel intimidating when you're new, and how to make the experience useful without making it uncomfortable.

Bring your person

Don't want to walk in alone? Don't.

Bring someone with you.

Your friend.Your sister.Your colleague.Your neighbour.Your teenage daughter.

You don't need to know anybody else attending.

In fact, if you've been curious but the thought of walking into a room full of people you don't know feels awkward, bringing someone with you is probably the perfect way to experience it.

We had moms and daughters join us last year too.
